Question 3: I believe that Renate did like the fact that Hannah healed her. I believe this because if she didn't like it, she wouldn't have let her do it. This is shown on page 39 by Hegi stating, "She drew her lower lip between her teeth, but then she raised her left leg and, carefully, laid her bare foot on my knees." This quote states that Renate did have enough trust to actually let Hannah "heal" her leg.

My question was: Did Renate like the fact that Hanna tried to help her? Yes/no. Why?

Evidence: I sat down on the crate across from her. "Let me have your leg." When she hesitated, I whispered, "I've figured out a way to make it all right-- your leg, I mean-- heal it."

Okay I have to answer number 2.The question is did it matter that Renate's leg did not fully heal? In my opinion I don't think it did matter since Hannah and Renate's relationship was fully healed. The End.

#4: During the events in "Props for Faith", when Hannah tried to heal Renate's leg, it strengthened her friendship, because even though the leg was not healed, it healed their friendship, which served as symbolism of forgiveness.

I was given question three to answer. I believe that Renate liked Hannah's attempt of healing her leg, even though it did not work. It was very nice of Hannah to at least try to help her friend. I know this because if she didn't like her attempt, they wouldn't have become best friends again.

mine is number 5 and I think snarling at a dog is completely normal. Hanna did this because obviously you would she just lost her closets friend. I have red this in heart of a samurai when Manjiro's friends shouted at to stop asking questions

I was given number four to answer which inquires, "Did this experience strengthen or weaken the relationship between Renate and Hanna?". My answer is that at first, it was weakened, then it was strengthened back to a neutral friend relationship. This is because at first, Hanna called Renate a gimp after she considered respect for Sybille, the class bully. Evidence for this is when these series of events are stated on pages 33.3-33.8 and 34.1-34.3 (pages thirty three, paragraphs 3-8 and page thirty-four, paragraphs 1-3). Gimp means somebody that is disabled, which actually does not make sense because Renate was only injured and not disabled. This greatly affected their friendship because Hanna offended Renate strongly. The reason why it was also strengthened is because of Hanna's efforts to mend Renate's broken leg, although it did not really affect it significantly. However, it fixed their friendship because of Hanna's compensation from offending Renate by calling her a gimp. Evidence that it supported their friendship is how they went to a carnival together in July, as stated on page 42.2 (page 42, paragraph 2).

Hanna was Catholic because she went to a church. The reader knows this because it was mentioned in the book many times.

I have question 6 and The question is Why din't Hanna's parents get involved in the conflict between Hanna and Renate. Well, Hanna's parents did not get involved because first Hanna or Renate did not have a phone to send or text Hanna's parents, second no one knew about the conflict except those two, third they solved them themselves with the holy water, and forth Hanna's parents are not mention that much and I wouldn't think any of her patents have control over her.

I was assigned number 6. Number six asked "Why did Hannas parents not get involved in her problem with her and Renate?" I think that her parents did not get involved in her problem is because Hanna did not probably mention it to them. She also probably wanted to handle it herself because it was her own problem.

My question was, "What caused Hanna to snarl at the dogs? Is this a normal reaction?" Hanna felt really bad for what she had said to Renate so she felt that if she stood up to the dogs that she would be standing up for Renate. On page 35 a quote says, "Though Renate and I always ran past the fence...I snarled back at them." If Renate was there, that would have been one of Hanna's many ways ton say I'm sorry again. This is symbolism because it symbolizes Renate and Hanna's friendship even if it might have been on hold at this time. "'Cowards,' I hissed, wishing Renate could see me. I raised my hands, curled my fingers into claws. 'Cowards'" (pg. 35). This quote explains more in depth of how much Hanna wished Renate could've seen her...be brave.

3: Renate did but didn't want Hannah's help. She did not want Hannah to go over to her house and try to apologize, but she did want trust Renate with healing her leg. That is the bond between their friendship

Renate didn't trust Hanna, but did like the feeling of thinking her leg was going to heal. "She drew her lower lip between her teeth, but then she raised her left leg, carefully, laid her bare foot on my knees" (pg. 39). Eventually, she did allow Hanna to rub her leg. "Should we do it again?" (pg. 41). I believe she asked this, not only to be double sure, but also because she liked the bonding moment she shared with Hanna. She wanted to be friends again.

I have question 7 and I think that some miracles are predictable because you might know about something and your like mabey this is going to happen and then it actually happens.

Question 5: Hanna snarled at the dogs because she was so mad that her friend wasn't talking to her so she had to take her anger out on something. I have never seen someone do this in anything I've ever read watched or seen.

Did it matter that Renate's leg didn't officially heal? No, it does not matter that the leg did not officially heal. All that matters is that their friendship was healed.
